GSA in Minneapolis

Just back from GSA, where I presented a poster on the new Mud Ed! website, a collaboration with Amy Myrbo at the Limnological Research Center designed to serve as a repository of informal educational resources for limnology and paleolimnology.

I also saw some great sessions on carbon burial in shallow lakes, using urban and suburban lakes as archives of human influence on the landscape (and as powerful outreach and educational tools), and I got to eat some cheese curds and get donuts from my favorite bakery in the whole world – an excellent conference!
